Episode 23 is up!

Peter was way under the weather, so it's just Darby and John. There's a bit of daleking, but editing it out would have ruined the segment, so we left it in.

  1. Hi, I just listened to my first and last Angry Mac Bastards. This show is "angry" but it is angry about things no one cares about except fanboy's. Or people that are so deep in the mac community that they can't fart without someone next to them smelling it.

They talk about people that I have never heard of. But as their putting these people down they are promoting these people. I had to the look up the people they were talking about on the web to find out who they are. But after finding them I just learned I could care even less who they are. Personally I can't see any reason to complain about things with such a narrow audience interest. I do love Peter's rant on YML and it is relevant.

That comes to the crux of the issue. Rant about things I know from the mac news. I lost interest in the show almost immediately and deleted it out of my list of podcasts I listen to.

Given that's the case, why should we give a shit what you think?

  3. Yeah...once you stop being a listener, you kind of lose what little influence you had. As well, you know what? Not every podcast is for every person. If you don't like it, well, that's a shame, but so be it. If you want a Mac-only podcast, there are a lot of good ones from Macworld, MacObserver, and TUAW et al.

  4. Well, John and Peter beat me to it, so just let me say this: Suck a bag of dicks.

  5. For iPad stupidity, Ars reaction by John Stokes (http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2010/01/ars-ipad-reax.ars) just pulling shit out of his ass regarding how you wouldn't be able to move books when you change devices (uh - sync to iTunes?) and that HTC could come up with comparable hardware this year. And OPEN. And CLOUD.
