The iTunes downloads for both episodes 116 & 117 were complete unlistenable. Darby and John came through clear, but Peter's voice was nothing but buzzes and unintelligible distortion. The direct link to the podcast on your web site was the same. Any chance these episodes can be re-mixed and re-posted? I need my AMB fix! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteObviously you're not in on the joke.
ReplyDeleteWas that a serious reply? I really like your brand of commentary, but if these audio issues aren't addressed, you're going to start losing listeners.
ReplyDeleteIt actually was a serious reply. We're very well aware that 116 was a complete clusterfuck. Something went wrong between my mic and my sound recording software, producing that weird-ass noise. What's worse, when we realized what was happening and stopped recording, John forgot to unpause - so Darby is the only one through the whole show with any decent audio.
ReplyDeleteIt was either post it like that or don't post a show at all, since none of us had the time or inclination to record it again. As it turns out, the show was wildly popular with our regular tweeps.
As far as #117 is concerned, if you'd listened past the 5 or 10 seconds of noise, you'd realize it *was* a joke. John dropped a piece from last week's show in there quite intentionally, but the rest of the show sounds just fine.
